GrassMat® is a heavy-duty roll-out mesh matting system designed to reinforce, stabilise and protect grassed areas while improving accessibility across outdoor environments.

Suitable for both temporary and permanent applications, GrassMat® helps create firmer, more stable surfaces for wheelchair users, mobility aids, pedestrians, golf carts and light vehicle traffic across grass and soft ground conditions.

The open mesh structure allows grass to grow through the matting over time, helping maintain a natural appearance while reinforcing high-traffic areas prone to wear, mud and surface damage.

Slip Resistant & Natural Appearance

GrassMat® uses an oscillated HDPE mesh structure designed to improve traction and reinforcement compared to standard straight mesh designs.

The textured surface helps improve grip while reducing wear to grassed areas caused by ongoing pedestrian, wheelchair or light vehicle traffic.

As grass grows through the mesh structure, the matting becomes less visible while continuing to reinforce and stabilise the surface below.

Environmentally Conscious Design

GrassMat® is manufactured from UV stabilised HDPE containing recycled polymer content and is fully recyclable.

The open mesh design allows existing grass to continue growing through the matting, helping preserve the natural appearance of parks, recreation areas, caravan parks and other landscaped environments.

Installation & Anchoring

GrassMat® is designed for installation directly over existing grassed surfaces with minimal site preparation and no major excavation required.

The matting is typically secured using ground pins, U-pins or other anchoring systems depending on the application, site conditions and intended traffic loads.

Please note: GrassMat® is supplied as matting only. Ground pins, U-pins, thresholds and other installation accessories are sold separately.
